Movie Marathons

I've been spending lesser time with mac lately, am trying to be like a CLP student, though the study progress is real slow, but it should be a good start. Someone said even the stupid-est game in facebook will abruptly seems fun when you are studying, couldn't agree more. I've spent hours with my fifi, yes my phone, for not-texting-use, and i couldn't recall what was i actually doing with my phone. Besides that, movie is always the best way to keep me awake while burning midnight oil or a little activity to kill the boredom, and i always can't help myself finish up the whole movie when i was only allowed to watch a short while for a short break, grrrrr.

Anyway, the most recent one, everyone's favourite, KungFu Panda 2 is finally out. I've watch the 1st one for like 5 times, in both cantonese and english :p This time Po is not as funny as KFP 1, but the baby Po in KFP 2 is soooooooo adorable!! Too bad Shifu only showed up in a few scenes, i love him a lot in the 1st one, but overall, it is still a worth-a-laugh movie.

 7/10, a movie for all ages

And recently i'm kinda liking thai movie, if you think it's all about ghost or fighting story then you will be totally wrong, they are little romance comedies. Hello Stranger is a movie recommended by my big bro, a story about boy meets girl, in Korea, by accident. They travel together, visiting the scenes of the soapy Korean drama, experiencing their first snow, dressing up the couple suits like the korean couples do, doing funny and silly in the strange land. The girl insist not to tell the boy about her name, so yea they are still stranger afterall, the story goes on. One thing i love about thai movies, there are funny bits come up unexpectedly, which makes me smile, yet the emotional scenes did make my tears flow either.

Last but not least, in fact, this is my favourite among the list, Crazy Little Thing Called Love. A very simple story about an ugly-duckling-little girl secretly in love with her senior, the high school hearttrob. With the help of her besties, she did a lot of silly crazy things just to get his attentions, unknown to her, he is actually crushing on her too. Well, there is definitely twists and turns, a prettier rival appeared, the boy's best friend falling for her, a confession that comes at the wrong time, the distance apart, however, i bet you will be smiling when you watch the scene that the girl walks along his classroom just to get a glance of him, the excitement when he notices her, the butterflies in stomach when she meets him, the way she gets his number...... It is a story that you and me might have the similar experience and will definitely bring you back to the memory lane of high school, the simple and pureness of first love.

9.5/10, highly recommended.

p/s: and i forgot to mention, their teacher is really the funny part, and how surprise i am that the little girl can be so damn pretty, so do the boy :)
